However, tilt or poor flatness of a slide glass can cause defocusing and positional errors. The resulting decrease in signal intensity can distort the data, affecting analytical accuracy and repeatability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-green-color has-text-color has-link-color has-medium-font-size wp-elements-014c0840d496b86729c1eb58a9e71089 wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u30fbSolutions<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A tilt sensor detects the angle and orientation of the slide glass. By compensating for the detected orientation error with the stage, the system reduces defocusing, improves reading-position accuracy and optical measurement accuracy, and stabilizes data quality.
